About Us
Pacer Fuels is a new name for the result of the combination of two "old" companies in the Atlanta, Georgia area. In July of 2000, Paul Tomaszewski and Janice Ferguson purchased the assets of Powell Oil Company of Austell, Georgia while still operating the business known as "Fitzgerald Food Stores". Paul and Janice have been operating Fitzgerald's for over 25 years and have established a reputation for having convenience stores that are clean, well-merchandised, and staffed with friendly people. Powell Oil Company concentrated on the wholesale side of the business selling petroleum products to retail and commercial customers offering quality products delivered by our drivers in our trucks on an expedient delivery schedule.
In 2001, both companies started operating under the name of "Pacer Fuels". No matter whether we are operating as a convenience store, a wholesaler, or a transportation company, we are "....setting the pace".
We maintain a substantial inventory of lubricants in our own warehouse and have one day access to almost any specialty product. We can brand stations with Chevron, Texaco, or Marathon brands or sell you product for an unbranded station. With the experience of Paul and Janice and their staff we can help you find solutions to almost any development problem. We have experienced petroleum truck drivers ready to provide prompt delivery from our own fleet of trucks. All of this is provided to you with a smile and a friendly greeting.
